Powering Virginia Research Project. Making it Local!
Goal
Virginia has every type of energy source (coal, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, solar, wind, etc.). It makes it an ideal environment for students to learn about the different types of energy sources. Research Project
Each student will select a different Power Plant in Virginia and do research on it. They can also choose to do research on the Virginia Power Grid. Students will learn:

Students will present their research by creating a website using Adobe Express. Rubric

Display
Students' websites can be displayed on a Thinglink. You can choose a different background and color code the different types of plants (e.g. pink: uranium, blue: hydro, etc.)
