Objective
We are now a 1:1 iPad school where students from grades K-8 all have iPads. Students in grades 6 - 8 can take the iPads home with them. Students in grade 5 can bring them home when directed by a teacher. Each student in grades K-4 has access to a device within the classroom when they need it. This page describes the types of things we'd like the students to know about the device.
Need to Learn
How is this iPad different than your own iPad or one from home?
The school iPad is a classroom tool with apps that will help students create and share work for their classes. The school iPad has apps carefully chosen by teachers which you will be used for school projects. There may be apps that some students have already used, but other students have not, so we'll still have to explore them together. We may use the same app a different way. |
