Students are starting their own businesses and they need to make a commercial (ad).
They also need to make a logo

I tried to recreate the Biteable idea by downloading free video clips from Pexels.com and using them in CLIPS. It wasn't as easy, but not hard either. Pexels provides copyright friendly video clips. The downloaded video clips go into the "File app" on the iPad. Then you have to save it onto the camera roll. The longest narration is the length of the video clip.

Here's a version that is similar to Pexels video project, but uses Unsplashed photos instead. It has the same download to "files app" issue, but the recordings can be any length. With CLIPS students can use a combination of Pexels videos, Unsplash photos and photos of their own products. The technical skills are similar to the American Symbols video project.

NOTE: Only works on a MacBook
Here's a video I made using Biteable.com which sadly does not work on an iPad. Biteable provides templates with pre-populated video clips. You select one and edit (just like a Google Slide deck). Easy peasy. |
Here is a video ad idea using a Blue Screen. This video could be simplified by using just one background - preferably the student's own tic tac toe design with all the Xs and Os already in place. Students would record each mini segment in front of the blue screen and then put it together using the Do Ink Green Screen App.
