Reasons to Email a Teacher
So in this lesson we are assuming

Examples of why you would email a teacher includes: letting them know you will be missing class, asking them for work to make up for an absence, asking for more information or clarification on an assignment, asking for assistance, setting up a meeting to talk about an issue, etc. Here are some things to consider:

STEP 4: The Message
Subject Line
Providing a clear subject line will help your teacher. Include a brief description like "Question about the Research Paper" Salutation
Remember, emails are more formal than texting. It should start with a greeting such as: Dear Dr./Mr./Mrs./Ms. Last Name. For teachers you know well, you can replace Dear with HI, Hello, or Good Morning. Don't use your teacher's first name unless they've indicated that they prefer it. Message Content

End an email to your teacher with: thank you, sincerely, or best followed by your full name. |
