Projecting your PC using a Projector
AirParrot is the software we use to display your PC screen on an Apple TV; therefore the first thing you need to do is make sure you have AirParrot installed on your computer.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to project from your iPad in a classroom. This is what a typical setup looks like:
STEP 1
Turn on the projector. If you can reach, you can press the "on" button directly on the projector or you can use the remote control. NOTE: The status light will blink green or blue and then stay on when it is fully "on". |
STEP 2
Use the Apple TV remote and turn on Apple TV. You can click on any button on the Apple TV remote. A white light will turn "on" when the Apple TV box is powered up. NOTE: The Apple TV box is the small black box sitting on top of your projector which is hanging down from the ceiling. |
You should see something like this on the projector.
If you don't, click on "source search" on the Epson projector remote.
|
When you are finished...When you are done projecting from the PC, click on the system tray and click on Apple TV you are connected to (there is a green check mark next to it) in order to deactivate the link. The Apple TV will automatically go into "sleep mode" on it's own. You should turn the projector off, if you are finished using it.
