I have been frustrated because over the years YouTube has made it more and more difficult to show students videos without ads and offering related videos at the end. Many of the services I used to rely on, no longer work.
The only solution I've found opens a new window and shows students the video in full screen with no ads, no comments, and no related videos at the end. It also loops when it finishes.

Let's say you want students to watch a YouTube video called "All About Insects". You find the video url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKQfJFAHW8Q Then you place a "-" after the "t" in Youtube: https://www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=rKQfJFAHW8Q Then I'll share it through a padlet (see Insect Padlet example) | Here's a YouTube video describing how this teacher uses it with Seesaw. |
