Thanks to funding from Elizabeth Lockwood and the FoL budget and Atilla Kocsis and money from the STEM club, we are excited to announce that we have enough equipment to host Google Expeditions for 11 students (with 2 extra VR headsets). Jim Girard has been using Google Expeditions in his classes and ha demonstrated it to most of the teachers at the school, so I won't go into a lot of detail here. Suffice it to say, it's a virtual reality teaching tool that lets your students take immersive virtual trips all over the world. Please watch the video below for more information. The 3rd Grade teachers, Sarah Culberson and Liz Holland, suggested we use Google Expeditions for the Festival of Learning where the lower school is learning about the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
